Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of gotenzai.com and the Tenzai application security platform (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Tenzai Ltd ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a company incorporated in Israel with offices at Yigal Alon Street 98, Floor 12, Tel Aviv 6473424, Israel. By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under the laws of your country of residence.
1. Agreement
These Terms form a binding agreement between you (or, if you are acting on behalf of an organisation, that organisation) and the Company. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation. The Company's Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy are incorporated by reference.
2. Use of the Service
The Service is an AI-powered vulnerability scanning platform for software development and AppSec teams. When you connect a code repository to the Service, you authorise the Company to access that repository for the limited purpose of running security scans and generating findings reports on your behalf.
- You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction and authorised to connect the repositories you submit.
- You agree not to use the Service to scan systems or repositories for which you lack explicit authorisation.
- You agree not to interfere with the Service's infrastructure, attempt unauthorised access, or circumvent rate limits or access controls.
- You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without written consent from the Company.
- You may not scrape, reverse-engineer, or copy the Service except as expressly permitted by mandatory law.
3. Intellectual Property
The Service, including the scanning engine, vulnerability detection models, automated fix-proposal logic, and user interface, is owned by the Company or its licensors and protected by Israeli and international intellectual-property law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your internal application security purposes during your subscription term.
Security findings reports and fix proposals generated for your repositories are yours to use. The underlying detection methodology and model weights remain the Company's property.
4. Customer Content and Data
You retain ownership of all source code, credentials, and other content you submit ("Customer Content"). You grant the Company a limited licence to access, store, and process Customer Content solely to provide the Service. The Company will not use Customer Content to train AI models, develop competing products, or disclose security findings to third parties outside your account without your consent.
You are responsible for ensuring that connecting your repositories to the Service is permitted under any applicable license, employment, or customer agreements governing that code.
5. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Vulnerability scanning surfaces known and detectable patterns; it does not guarantee the detection of all security flaws or the accuracy of every finding. The Company disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Mandatory statutory warranties applicable in your country of residence are not affected.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid to the Company in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) USD 100. The Company will not be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including losses from undetected vulnerabilities. These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory law.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its officers, employees, and contractors from any third-party claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, your violation of any third-party right, or any security incidents in your own systems that the Service did not cause.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate the subscription on notice as set out in the applicable order form or pricing plan. The Company may suspend or terminate access immediately for material breach, including unauthorised use, non-payment, or conduct that puts the Service or third-party systems at risk. Upon termination, your scan reports and account data will be retained for 90 days then deleted, consistent with the Privacy Policy. Sections 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, and 10 survive termination.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel. Disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Service are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Tel Aviv, Israel, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available in your country of residence.
10. Changes and Contact
The Company may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted with a new "Last updated" date and, where required by law, notified by email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
